  • Farmer’s training for Sustainable farming, EM & Vermi Compost, Bio-Pesticide and Biodynamic Preparations and its effective uses.
  • Farmer’s training for better Income generation initiatives through low input farming practices by locally available resources resulting in reducing the cost of cultivation.
    • Village level 6 meetings were organized in Rajsitapur, Chandrasar ,Chuda, Chaukadi and Wadhwan villages.
    • Demonstrations were carried for the proper composting followed by half day training seminar in Ramdeogarh, Chuda and Rajsitapur villages.
  • Facilitation of Organic Framing program for Cotton and Sesame to 300 farmers of ChudaTaluka of Surendranagar District. With the help of Well-known International certification body Ecocert, Organic Certification program was carried out.
  • Training on Organic Farming Practices in different Horticulture Crops, Cotton, other cereals and cash and medicinal value crops.
  • Training on Different practices related to Conservation of natural resources like water and soil mainly which contribute more for sustainable farming practice.
    • Demonstrations were carried out for making small bunds and check dams in Rampara Village of Surendranagar Dist.
  • Organized a State level one day training seminar presided by the Honorable Agri Minister of Gujarat attended by most of the senior Department officers including the Horti Director, approx 900 Farmers and several Organisations with similar Objective for the promotion of Organic Farming in the area.
  • Inauguration of Composting making drive by the Honorable Agri Minister of Gujarat with the help of waste crop residues and cow dunk.
  • Publication and distribution of a handbook for Organic farming practices in local Gujarati language with the help of Horticulture Board, Gujarat.
  • Farmers meeting in Rajsitapur for the development of Organic Horticulture and spices crop which was attended by approx 100 farmers of 6-7 neighboring villages.
  • Taken up a project for agro forestay in Rajsitapur with the help of local village community.
  • Village level meeting for the development of Sustainable Cotton farming with the help of Chaukadi sahkari mandali and District panchayat Cotton Mission program.
  • Farmers meeting in Dhangdhara Taluka were carried out for the development of Organic Cotton in 21 villages.
